Watt's Current
Watt's Current was the HP employee news letter from 1943 until
1971. In all, 322 issues were published over it's 27 year existence,
with 26 years edited by William (Bill) Bigler. In later years, the
newsletter's tag line was "Items of Interest Concerning Palo Alto
Area Personnel". Upon Bill Bigler's retirement in 1971, the
newsletter was replaced with "The Peninsulan" which continued to
focus on issues of interest to Palo Alto and Santa Clara employees.
MEASURE magazine was started in July 1963,
and covered items of interest to all HP locations, and ran until
June 2000).
We need your help. Very few issues have been made available for
scanning, and we would love to hear from you if you have issues in
your collection.
