New visitors to this site: please notice the navigation
links at the bottom of these pages (in addition to the quick links on
the left)... Right now, there is
already a broad spectrum of HP materials posted (approximately
35,000 pages), and through the work of many active
volunteers, there
is more being added every week!
HP Archive's Purpose
This site is dedicated to collectors and "curators" of vintage Hewlett Packard equipment, catalogs, HP Journals and other periodicals. We are web-publishing some of the oldest HP literature to serve as a complete on-line reference source. Even though many of these early publications are very rare, this website will make them available to HP fans! Right now, you will find catalogs, price lists, parts lists, advertising items, and with the help of volunteers like yourself, we will have more Bench Briefs, early product manuals, and service notes... all on-line and text searchable. Please check out the Volunteer link if you would like to contribute time or materials as an "Online Curator"... it's easy and fun.
New for Spring 2012
Marc Mislanghe continues to build his great collection of short memoirs by early HP-ers. They tell the fascinating story of how HP's people worked together building the world's greatest technology company. Marc has them collected together on his fine website, and has greatly enhanced them with his own references and illustrations. Many thanks are owed to Marc and the "old timers" who have taken the time to tell us their stories... please see ... Marc's "Memoirs of Hewlett Packard People" homepage.
Also, thanks to Sheldon Sterling, there are lots of 1950's and 60's photos in the Sheldon Sterling Collection.
